Welcome to my first blog post.

I love to hear from my readers. Trying to think of a way to connect more I realised that a blog has been staring me in the face.

I'd love to chat about books we've been reading and other things too.

Firstly - school holidays! It's the time of year that as a parent I fear to start with, but by the end of the six weeks I'm sad to see the hols close. I bet that I'm not alone in this! Our eldest son, Reuben, starts a new school in September. We are so excited as it's going to suit his needs down to the ground. The youngest starts nursery every afternoon, so not long until he joins the academic calendar merry-go-round.

Books... As you may be aware, Death Dolls is only a week from release now. I can't wait to be able to share it with you all. The book has had smashing feedback from beta readers and ARC readers, so I'm feeling pretty positive. I somehow said that if I sold 2000 copies then I'll get the Death Doll tattoo! Of course if that happens, the day will be photo-documented for your amusement.

Other books that I have read recently.

Some They Lie by MK Farrar - 5 stars from me.

This is the first psychological thriller by the author. She is better known for her romance books. I kept thinking about the story after reading it - a sure sign that it's a belter. I hope that Marissa writes more books in this genre, as I will read them for certain.

When I talk about books from other authors, I will have read it and my comments on it true to my opinion. I have nothing to gain from a review, apart from hopefully helping readers find more great books.

As this is my first blog, I don't want to overwhelm with too much content.

Please feel free to get in touch.
